Although this transcription for alto saxophone is in "tab" form, that's not going to make it any easier to play. Nonetheless if you learn this, the clubbers are going2goknuts!

Leaving legal arguments aside (fair use vs copyright violations) the Joey's Guitar Tabs website was discontinued earlier this month. Here is a screenshot for the memories.
This reggae mix digs on some old school classics with a few unknown remakes and even an untitled track from a band I worked with a few decades ago. If anyone knows the name of the unknown number, please leave a comment with the info and I'll send you some undisclosed paraphernalia.
Ever since Adam Carolla made overtly sarcastic and insulting comments about the intelligence level of the Hawaiian people, members of the international community have rightly learned to tread lightly on assessments of island culture and history. Hawaiians are tuff kahunas that don't take no insults from random haoles, so with respect, here's a mix of some explosive Hawaiian reggae.
It doesn't matter if you're performing this kick-ass intro at an Irish whiskey bar or between innings at Fenway Park, the crowd will love it. It can also be played on practically any instruments, from an electric bagpipe to a inter-galactic halztropiphone.
I was lucky enough to hear this song performed live at the LoDo Music Festival, but if you're just out for a Sunday cruise with your customized Chevy in Espanola, NM - then maybe you can blow this horn line. If you really want to rock the house, try the bass line too!
Musicians need a few recognizable motifs to please the masses, so here's a couple written in standard notation. For saxophone players, The Simpsons will be pushing the lower limits of the instrument, so be prepared for some reed related blowouts. Mission Impossible can be a bit difficult to just throw into the mix of a random song, considering the fact that it uses a 4/5 time signature. Hopefully the fingering chart helps all the saxophone players.
This song has nothing to do with the overtly stupid movie of the same name. As an adolescent in the 1980's, I consumed everything the corporate media gave me Artists like Milli Vanilli and movies like Soul Man were regrettably my bread and butter. Nonetheless, the theme track of the movie Soul Man was Soul Man, so there's no complaining about the music. With that, the horn parts for this one totally rock!
Reggae often relies on synthesized sounds, so my search for a grounded acoustic form of the music that still held me on my offbeat skank led me to these tracks. Cool listening below!
If you want to please the ladies, you NEED to learn how to play this song. For inspiration, check out the video, and then learn to play the song.
